Four community leaders were presented with the Paul Harris Fellowship
Award by the Rotary Club of Halifax at the Annual Rotary Spring Dinner
held at the Holiday Inn Select.
Almost  200 guests attended the dinner chaired by local architect, Paul
Frank.
Honoured were Capt. Claude Ball, Mickey MacDonald, Jack Rowe, and Fred Were.
Mickey MacDonald was also presented with an original painting (shown
here) by Rotarian and local artist Laurie Mireau.  The painting depicts
MacDonald as a young boxer standing beside his new Palooka's Gym on
Gottigen Street.
